I believe these are $1000 US starter accounts for new borns or young children Prowler. So they can BUY shares. Not have them "distributed" like LotusTard is "thinking".
People have always been able to buy shares of publicly traded companies, as long as shareholders are willing to sell.
And Employee Share Ownership Programs are not a new idea. They have been around in their current form in the USA for about 70 years. Probably a similar time frame in Canada.
So it's kind of like providing free shares only the investor or parent get to decide which shares they are buying.
And If Dalio, Dell didn't think this was a top priority and everyone was already doing it, why would they bother to fund or donate to this program Lex @The Prowler?
Clearly these businesmen understand that there is a lack of participation by the working class and a need to improve. So they decided one way to improve that situaiton is to provide starter accounts for their children.
