All the laws and regulations that have only made it harder for law abiding citizens and haven't done a thing to deal with gun violence. It's just slowed down the ability for regular citizens to have access to their own rights.

If murder being illegal isnt enough, there are no regulations that are going to work. It just leaves regular people unable to defend themselves.

Why would make guns so difficult for those who follow the law, and also have laws about shooting aggressors? No one should ever go to prison for shooting an intruder.

And you cant even pull your gun until the moment you need to pull the trigger. You know how much violence can be avoided just by brandishing?

Wouldnt it be better to show an aggressor you are armed and let them decide if they want to advance as opposed to allowing it to escalate to the point where you have to kill them and put yourself at a greater risk?

I'm not going to post all the details but one detail is that you have to pass an RCMP background check. If you have ANY convictions against you for the previous five years then you are shit out of luck, no guns for you. If you are a law abiding citizen like me with a clean record then you have nothing to worry about.
This might not work in the US since gun laws are State and not Federal.
