Pretty much anyone I knew living in NJ or NY is leaving those places.

Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!

One of my girlfriends was there with her family visiting on vacation. I was happy to find out she wasn’t anywhere near when it happened.

Mental health needs to be a priority in this country. I’m still shocked the guy turned himself in.

Yes, especially the mental health of people who keep voting for the democrats

What else do you guys need to understand that those people are in the pockets of those who want to destroy America and Americans and simply take over whatever's left after that?

the mental health of anyone voting for these cons needs to be checked…

But I would prefer to live in a liberal city before I would move to the boondocks again. It’s just more fun. The people are nicer for starters and the city stays open past 10.

The drugs are also better :ChiLLPiLL:

Yep.. My brother lives there (Ft Myers) and loves it.. He packed his bags 30 years ago and moved there from Michigan. He's never looked back and considers himself a fortunate man :) Says it's the best decision he's ever made in his life!!!

Ok, hear me out.

I agree with some, and dont agree with some, but these are merely my experience based opinions lol.

As someone who loves pot, yes, Seattle has better pot lol.

Are there fun things to do there, yes. I have loads of fun when I visit my brother.

I have loads of fun here too. I love going off in the woods and having a fire with friends.

But the people of Seattle are weird, and Im sure I seemed like a strange sight to them, know it lol. Even my brother was amazed at my influence. Him and I be walking down the sidewalk, I be smiling, nod to someone approaching, they return smile and wave, so I usually wave and say hey with a bigger smile, thus theirs gets bigger. My brother was like "people never do that here! How are you doing that!?" lolol, cause it happened a lot as we walk lol. He tells me most folks dont talk or wave or anything. Most folks stay to themselves a lot. Folks were drawn to my smile, energy, and Southern accent lol. Felt great to spread joy somewhere that seemed like it needed it.

I read an article that described it, how most folks stay to themselves a lot. I think its all the rain Seattle gets til Summer. Stays cloudy all the time, which to me is depressing.

Which is why I wouldnt move there when my brother wanted me too. Plus my flag is frowned upon there lol :Confederacy:

I also enjoyed the parks and programs that were all free when I lived in a red state. They know how to pump their money into things that benefit the upper middle class communities. But I didn’t like everything shutting down by 8 pm. There is a pro and a con to living anywhere.

Personally, I prefer to not be near the angry Bible thumpers calling the cashier behind the counter a “nigger”… but I’m also not going to condone that behavior against white people or any other race for that matter.

Live and let live.

Seems like he moved at the right time.

However for the Johnny/Janey come latelys coming into the game, moving there now it must be an expensive proposition since land values & rents have shot up dramatically after the Pandemic hit.

She lives in a alternative universe built by stereotypes.

The funny part is you are more likely to see racism and hate in a blue state.

And my blue state only funds park's and such for the upper middle class. So....not sure how she managed to pin that on a red state as if her state has anything for the working and poor besides the likelihood of CPS kidnapping their children over manifestations of poverty.

Imagine stepping over the homeless all around your own state and criticizing another state for catering to the wealthy only. All the while harshly judging people you dont even know based on false and hateful stereotypes.

Californians are pretty known for that. All the latte liberals who live in an elitest bubble and look down on everyone from their ivory towers of street feces.

Idaho is terrified that the CA people who moved there (to escape their third world politics) are going to destroy their happy red state by voting for the same shit policies that ruined CA. They have made announcements like "Welcome! Make yourselves at home...but do not ruin our state by turning it into CA". And the locals complain about how the CA transplants are dirty, they litter, they are smug and self important and they are ruining their home state.

It's like they are so dumb they dont understand that policies actually matter. They think its words and image that matter.

Florida feels the same about liberal animals. We welcome the ones seeking refuge from proggie scum but hate the ones like the Disney execs who come here and bring their home state deviance with them

someone took their crazy pills again today….

I guess anytime I post on this board the resident wingnut is gonna get all up in her personal feels about a state she has never been invited to come and shack up in. Apparently, the libs have some standards and require their “hotwomen with teeth.

In the interim, Detroit is still a shithole.

It wasn’t directed specifically at Florida, but I’ve traveled to nearly every state in this nation.

I’m not really keen on any state where survival depends on your central heat and air. Never have been. But I also turned on my heater a total of 2x this past winter. I liked that much better than the 2-3 months you have to in Washington during winter.

But that has mostly to do with my skin regiment. I’m buji. Sue me.

Let’s see. My homeowners insurance premium for my 4300sq ft 6 bedroom mansion with Olympic size swimming pool on 2 acres of land runs me 3600.00 a year. My property tax is 6800.00. Florida has no state income tax

May state income tax in that shithole liberal toilet I just left was a little over 24,000.00 a year and property taxes are a minimum of 12.000 a year for less than half of what I got here. And insurance premiums are close to 3k

So, my homeowners could increase 10 fold and I’d still be doing better than I would in a shothole liberal fickhole

Sorry to disappoint you

What makes you think I would ever buy into a slice of communism otherwise known as an HOA ?

you’d have to be an utter moron to buy into an HOA or one of those communities where the developer is sitting on thousands of additional acres and building homes identical to yours

So I’m just your quintessential Gen X reject your government American raised Cali blond 90s girl…. going to Hollywood sneaking into the Whiskey to watch Pearl Jam live. There was something about the sound of isolation and despair in their music that immediately caught my attention.

Seattle was nothing back then. It was a void that became the sub pop record turned world domination story.

the scene is still going OFF

go back to suburbia drunk on your perverse narrative that WE are the problem you filthy fucking animals
