I've been watching China since the mid to late '90's when they had 40 medium range missiles pointed across the straight. It was an odd and new threat as Xi came into power and laid out his guarantee of reunification.' Look where we are today.
If you notice I'm not into politics, but I do watch our military and foreign policy especially with China. It will be another decade or less, but its coming in our lifetime.
My head's so packed with their military moves and arsenal growth over the last 30 yrs., their debt traps of poor countries to snag land and resources, their Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) slick shit bullshit, their navy and their fucking insane threats to all countries in the region, their bullying, their 9 dash line. 'China aims to dominate the Indo-Pacific region and displace the United States as the world's most powerful nation, Noh said, noting Chinese President Xi Jinping has ordered the People's Liberation Army to be ready to invade Taiwan by 2027'.
BUT.. if you asked me in the last 10 years what I thought about China/US I would tell you there is a war coming. It's inevitable.
Keeping this simple... I would tell you that China has in its first strike doctrine to drop our power grid. This will be a tactic to delay the US getting to Taiwan's aid quickly, slow down... but more importantly to take out of resiliant industrial complex and manuafacturing of wartime goods.... then there's the other GIVEN reason.. to persuade the US citizens to endure the risk of supporting Tawain. Most Americans dont know or dont care and they want them to persuade the US to sit it out.
THIS.... makes me want to PREP.
I remember reading a Chinese general saying almost 10 years ago how they would go to war with the US and leave everything standing over here, by using a grid drop or EMP... We'd kill ourselves off and they would take over our infrastructure. Bold, yes... but its in the actual game plans.
