There is a bill in the Senate right now though it is going no where as neither Dems nor Republican politicians want to piss off the third biggest donor lobby in the country by stripping away their, pretty unethical and unjustified, protections from getting sued. In other words, they are greedy cowards who collectively put the interests of big donors in the tech lobby above the public's best interests or even basic fairness.

I honestly can't think of a single good reason why big tech monopolies should have special legal immunities the rest of us don't have. Most citizens would agree yet the politicians are scared shitless of offending their third largest donor group. That kind of exposes how corrupt and beholden those politicians all are, doesn't it?
