Our generation isnt aging like the ones before us. We are both Gen X i assume?

My man said women are way hotter way longer than they used to be. And then we got into a whole conversation about it and realized right now we are the same age as Archie and Edith Bunker were during All in The Family.

This was or age in the 70s

....but they grew up in the Great Depression & World War II @Dove .

Those were difficult times. It was not uncommon for families where only half of the children made it to adulthood. I remember families like that during my childhood

Thing is unlike today hardly anyone ever complained.

The term 'man up' wasn't just an expression. It was a way of life.

Today's generation are whiners. They complain way too much. But they don't seem to realize that using Einstein's quote, they stand on the shoulders of giants - their parents & grandparents.

If we have good fortune or any hint of prosperity it's because of them. And this something someone like @The Prowler in particular, doesn't seem to be aware of or realize. All those toys he owns or flaunts...it's because of them.
