Actually he's not. The charges are still standing and in effect. It's also a state case, which means he can't stop it.

In retrospect, it's probably a good thing that she's off the case. As what usually happens in cases like this the new prosecutor will probably have better legal chops. It will be less an "I'm gonna get Trump" and more like "The evidence is there, and I'm going to stop this criminal activity.

You have to admit, fucking her lead prosecutor while doing this was the dumbest thing she could have ever done. I'm still scratching my head over it.
