I'm pretty sure they knew that going in (maybe even designed the boycott to be untenable in a fit of sardonic humor) and only wanted the drama, not an actual boycott.
So... task failed successfully.
In any event the only negative outcome was further inflating Cookie's already bloated ego and while hardly being optimum it's not really all that serious.
Kinda like the boycott.

After he passed Lily in post count he remarked that when he passed 100k posts he would "retire". He had 10k posts or so to go at the time. Psure he "meant"" it as a goal.
Fast forward to 10k posts later and currently he's suffering the consequences of his goal.
He'll figure it out or he won't. This is a troll board. You always leave forever until you come back.
I left TK a couple years ago as a reg, I still pop in and post every now and then.
