I saw a video some time ago, where she is showing Gene Simmons one of her trademark riffs, and it appeared to me he was just not getting it, and it reaffirmed rumors I had heard over the years, that he wasn't that skilled. But then I've heard someone else saying he was skilled and just underrated due to the cheesy pop music they made.

He's obviously a bright guy and has done very well for himself, but I was never a fan, although a tiny handful of their songs might have me tapping my foot. But most everything I hear about Gene on a personal level makes me think he's an asshole. But This is for Carol.
