However when his poll numbers started to sag due to concerns over these choices, Trump has sought endorsements from former Democrats RF Kennedy & Tulsi Gabbard. So he wants to appear more moderate than his earlier positions.

But isn't that flip flopping?

All the while Trump & the Republicans accused Kamala Harris of flip flopping and changing her political positions.

However it appears that he is doing it too while downplaying his earlier associations with Project 2025.

He's an inveterate liar. He's uninformed and easily manipulated. I'm sure he had no idea what is in P2025 900 pages, but when the general public turned against it, he had a knee-jerk reaction.
