My Cats are a whoooole other story.
. Coach Neptune is a nice fellow, sharp dresser, but he's in year 3 and at 4-4 this team is in trouble.
.Seen some recent signs of good but then....
Lost to Colgate by 10 second game of the year. You'd think there was nowhere to go but up after than.
. Rethink that.
Looked good at the half against Maryland - 12 up. Lost by 1.
. Up 9 at the half tonight against #14 Cinci
I am not feeling optimistic.

The Villanova BBall philosophy had been developing players over their 4 years of Varsity ball.
.The Portal has destroyed that. Every team is Kentucky now only with older players.
Next year the roster will be completely transformed.

. I fucking hate the Portal.

I am not sold on the portal either, but The Ducks have had the luxury of obtaining the last two QB's through that....

But Just like Politics, College Sports becoming more and more monetized, word is Uncle Phil has been pouring money into the NIL Coffers...cool for the Ducks, but what about the Schools that don't have billionaire sports nut alumni?

I checked out some of the video of the game and it did look like there were two occasions that the refs blew a call that could've given the Ducks a chance. Shameful.

They were not very good today, but they are much better than last year.
