It's a long video (2 hrs) but it's showing how crazy things are right now. I'm about 25 mins through but already it's shown total asshole Zog bots harrassing a guy in an airport for not wearing a mask even though he has a medical exemption, a 70 year old woman getting man-handled and pepper sprayed in the face and hundreds of construction workers in Melbourne protesting outside a Labour party office and it basically descending into a riot....

Also, have you guys heard of "Pecker Maroo LTD"? I hadn't until now, but allegedly this company has bought up and controls every Australian government agency.

From what I can gather, a private corporation has literally shut down the country and has been able to do so because it controls every important sector of society.

Good on those construction workers for kicking off over proposed mandatory vaccinations for employees.
Don’t believe everything you hear mate. My uncle is a multimillionaire that owns some major construction companies in several states and bows down to no one. Vaccines aren’t mandatory to the indispensable, trust me.

The country can’t afford it. I’ve never seen the beaches so crowded. People are getting paid $750 per week just to relax and put their feet up.

Christ, it's profitable being on welfare in Aus then?

You get barely anything on Universal Credit here, unless you have kids or are on disability. They pay upto £1500 a month if you're on PIP (Personal Independent Payment) and it includes your rent, so people on that receive more money than those poor sods working minimum wage jobs.

It's all completely fucked.

My wife got put on a three day roster and is being paid $450.00 by the government in lieu of those two lost working days.

So what's happening with the mandatory vaccinations in the work force? Is it a case of some firms adhering to it and others not?

Politicians are exempt I think, just like in the US.
That’s exactly right. Some firms are enforcing it and others are not. And as far as I know, politicians don’t have to have the vaccine, although the government here is looking to change that or at least encouraging it. It’s double standards for all and people’s tolerances for the blatant hypocrisy is wearing thin.

I don't know if it is true but people are claiming authorities in Victoria have cut off the internet to prevent citizens from organizing a protest against authoritarian lock down policies.

Again, this is unverified but people are claiming some parts of Australia the government is outlawing media companies from broadcasting drone footage to try to hide the protests from the general public. Reportedly they are also closing airspace to prevent news helicopters from also filming.

If true, this is pretty obviously just repression of the media and serious violation of freedom of the press in order to cover up politically embarrassing information for politicians.

If so, which is a big if, then the Australian government has something in common with Antifa by trying to repress freedom of the press to prevent them from reporting the truth.

People's right to privacy will be invaded if drones are allowed to fly around willy-nilly... so fuck your invasive drones... You want footage, you run amongst the crowd.

oh ffs...

btw the Australian Liberal government is our CONSERVATIVE government the leftie Labor Party hates.

I assume it's the same problem as in most other countries where various different left-leaning parties dominate and the right wing doesn't have any proper representation in the mainstream.

the protests AREN'T poliical. I'm on my bedroom TV so writing a post is a chore. I'll post later.

I undertsand that, it's due to the introduction of Covid passports and mandatory vaccinations in the workforce.

It tends to be leftist parties which propose these measures however.

That's your fucking dropkick state... the Conservative run state whose pollies should be decapitated for causing all the latest drama, for not going into hard lockdown as soon as the first case of Delta was found a few months back.

Covid free WA people haven't had $750 cheque for wayyyyy over a year.

Well then you would be wrong. The clueless right wing are the pushers... THEY want to get back to business as usual. They're the broke ones wasting fucking money and need people to work.

Our governments go on MEDICAL advice on covid issues, NOT political agendas. Anyway, if anyone deserves a beheading it's New South Wales, conservative, Gladys Berejiklian for waiting weeks before locking down... and the Muslims in NSW for not sticking to the lockdown rules... Pity the abos don't spear the Muzzies. Muzzies are above the rules apparently.
