Yeah, the vaccine wasn't available yet, and I just had shingles a few months ago.

Me too. I got the first vaccine about 8 years ago. Guess I have to get the new one which is a two step double shot. Havent got shingles yet, but I crank my immune system every day with tons of nutrients and supplements so I have dodged that painful event so far. I know three people who had shingles and it doesnt look very pleasant
