Recently hired ICE Agents getting Fired also have to repay $50,000 bonuses they aren't entitled to

So seems like they were given bonuses conditionally and would get to keep it if they stayed employed for 2-3 years but if they didn't they have to pay it back.

....is that the correct interpretation ?

So the ones who spent the bonuses but got let go before qualifying for them have to pay thrm back.
