Gary, your flame fraternity has always been like skull and bones, with its deep dark secrets, so I understand why you'd be wary. Especially after all the horrible things that I've been told happened at that Knights of Fire meeting. Perhaps you believe a body has been discovered and that I work for the district attorney's office. That is something I understand.
Your "understanding" and certain contents of the spillover pond at a sewage treatment plant bear a striking resemblance to each other.
You had a chance to meet us in 1998 and ghosted... without even giving a semi-believable excuse like Spider did. Or maybe you also have an irrational fear of driving across bridges?
See: I haven't been in contact with Spidey for YEARS and YEARS but I still know more about him than I do about you.
Even Chet, although he couldn't make it in person, sent a video for us to watch.
What did you send? <cricket noises>
But please do go on about how for no apparent reason you want to cuddle up off-board and exchange personal details.
It's fascinating, in a Ted Kaczynski documentary kind of way.
Besides, our group was more open and mature than your band of WebTV Don Quixote's. We had no problem with sharing emails, we would have private chats with so so called enemy flamers, everyone knew the difference between posting on forums and things said on the phone or email. I assume the clusterfuck of drama that came after is why your community is on it's last leg.
- I (surprise) don't know who "your group" was/is.
- My "group" was emailing each other well before Riotgear had the 'knights' idea
- You would obviously be surprised at who I did and in some cases still do keep in touch with who had nothing at all to do with the whole 'knights' scene.
- You wouldn't have to assume things if you hadn't been such a determined outsider all this time.
"Because Blandy's being a big meany" isn't what I'd call plausible.
