'Adult content' doesn't always mean 'mature behavior'. In fact, I'd say it usually means quite the opposite. And better for people do indulge those darker impulses upon digital effigies than upon real living beings.
Oh, but of course. Better to indulge them than mature mentally and emotionally beyond them. So right.

Video games are my passion. I've been gaming for 40 years and love every minute of it. Life is too short, take the time to do the things you love doing. We only get one go around in life.
I used to think I was a gamer. I beat Marathon, the Bungy precursor to Halo, in record time. Then one day I let my son try a cool Apple pc game I found. I forget the name of it, but the object was to travel around the galaxy starting with a little shuttle ship and then making coin and trading and fighting bandits and such and buying bigger and bigger ships. I spent weeks getting a few million credits and a cool almost top-of-the-line ship with a hold full of stolen cargo and all the best weapons.

My son beat the entire game in a matter of three or four hours. He had like 800 million credits, the best and most expensive ship and an entire fleet of pirate vassals which I didn't even know you could do. He said to me "Cool game, dad, you got any other ones?"

He was 10 years old.

I haven't gamed much since then.

You can manage your impulses in whatever way best suits you. It's not your place to tell anyone else how to do the same.

Now, you'll pardon me while I go play 'Judas goat' to a treasonous old woman who sold a man's wife and unborn child into slavery, so that said man can blow her brains out in front of a giant dinosaur statue. :Happy5:

One-upped the old man! lol

Yeah, any kid I've ever met that was into gaming just had a knack for it. They excel. Young fresh minds. I miss that about me.

. Oh please - I was not telling anyone how to or what to....I was only observing that many have the impulse control of toddlers due to arrested mental/emotional development.....not that there's anything wrong with that.
