I expect many of the worst will come to the USA and our government will tie itself in knots to protect them but we can deal with that when it happens... or probably we won't. We've not been very effective at governmental accountability in generations but who knows- maybe that'll be the final straw that gets enough people out of their chains and into the streets.

Funny that you would think it's "just" you, in spite of the thousands of posts Lily and I have made about it since October 7. And me, I have been posting about Israel's bullshit policies since the internet came into our homes. I was furious when they cancelled Jeremy Corbin for being "antisemitic" and etc, etc. And before the internet, I used to talk about it to people. All the time.

I actually worked for a rich Jewish philanthropist/activist in the 90s who was very active in trying to help resolve the apartheid mess in Palestine. He made some headway,, but obviously, not enough.

And I have always tried to find the words to use to help people understand that I, with the Jewish blood I have in my veins, am NOT antisemitic. But people are fucking dense.
