There are many genres and platforms I find insufferably boring and yet they seem to be quite popular with others.

I don't want and have never wanted to do what's "popular" or likely to be well-received by an audience full of pseudo-sentient conformists. If what we're doing was liked by everyone *that* would make me nervous and cause me to reevaluate our content.

Anyway, we're just getting started.
Who knows if we'll be doing the same show in a week, or a month, or a year. For me it doesn't hinge on the mercurial wishes of a yet-to-be-established audience. It is what it is and will be whatever it becomes.

People can either join us on the adventure or not.
It should go without saying I'd be pleased if you/they did, but it's not going to hurt my feelings if you decide to defer.
