It's true I'm not a fan of too many "fantasy" type shows, though there are a few exceptions, like LOTR.

My secondary reason is that I shy away from "you're gonna love it" recommendations of any kind. They hype rarely meets my expectations.

im the same way with fantasy stuff but if u like LOTR ur definitely missing out

GOT is more complex, more characters, political conflicts, personal dramas, etc.. In the DVD/blu-ray menu it even includes a map so u can pause and see what 'house' they r referring 2

I have never watched the Godfather trilogy.

alright, skip the trilogy and just watch the first two ;)

I agree, the 3rd is unnecessary.

I think Godfather II is my favorite. It's arguably more intense than the first. It's also where Al Pacino is fine as fuck. Goodness he was beautiful.

GF II was more interesting than the 1st because it explored the history & rise of the Gambino family.

The 1st seemed more about a bunch of mobsters.
