Misery was a good one.
Elf too.

Everytime one of them goes, I'm reminded of my own clock, curse and then laugh at how time passes so quickly and for dragging me with them through the sands of time.

Not many.

I'm gonna confess something here, and don't be giving me grief and ask me why...

I have never watched the Godfather trilogy.
Not once. I just can't.

Gosh, not many. Even the ones that have been tough guy characters, like Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro have mellowed out in their roles - Pacino as a Gucci, DeNiro in the Fockers movies.

I agree, the 3rd is unnecessary.

I think Godfather II is my favorite. It's arguably more intense than the first. It's also where Al Pacino is fine as fuck. Goodness he was beautiful.

I love mafia history and movies, don't get me wrong.
I've always felt like it would be emotion overload, it would hurt. So I won't watch.
I know that sounds ridiculous, but that's the only reasoning I can come up with.
It'll hurt my heart.

You're assuming, and you shouldn't.
You asked for reason, I gave it to you to best of my reasoning.
Take it or leave it, final answer.

It's true I'm not a fan of too many "fantasy" type shows, though there are a few exceptions, like LOTR.

My secondary reason is that I shy away from "you're gonna love it" recommendations of any kind. They hype rarely meets my expectations.
