Am I the only one who's occasionally stricken with nostalgia for old internet jargon?

Call me biased, but I think our lingo was far superior to the 'skibbidy toilet' nonsense favored by kids these days.

To be fair though I mostly blame the parents.
The breeders have failed civilization miserably and I hope the shame gives them horrific nightmares.

But... but... words are what I do.
They are my comfort and my anguish, my cannon and my barricade.
Words are how I express myself and the tool with which I examine others' expressions.

It's never too early or too late for words.

I'm still (mostly) avoiding politics and war at the moment. There's only so much of that stuff any sentient being should be expected to absorb and *remain* sentient. I decided my sanity was more important than knowing about all of humanity's current atrocities and the atrocities which led directly to the current ones. We really are broken as a species and it's increasingly difficult to believe there's any chance that we'll fix ourselves.

I have been wanting to do another vid though... maybe a book review or something? Not sure when or if I'll jump back into the fetid morass of sociopolitical psychopathy that is the 'Murican cultural experience.

To be fair, I think IKY fell out of use because if you say "PeeWee Herman" to anyone born less than 40 or 50 years ago they'd just shrug and reply "Who?"
