I'm the luckiest fucker on Earth. I work at an essential business. 3 weeks ago I got my yearly raise plus they started paying pandemic pay. 2 weeks ago I messed up my foot at work and have been home since. Thursday they mri'd it. I go for the follow up yesterday expecting to be released back to work. Instead, I got 3 weeks in a moon boot. I have 2 sprained ligaments, 1 partially torn ligament, tendinitis, and a partially torn Achilles tendon. If it's not healed in 3 weeks it's surgery time with another 8 weeks off. So far I am not doing well I guess.

As long as we get a couple of hours walk it’s ok, I’m doing weird stuff like taking cuttings from plants to make new ones, planted my weed seeds, by the time this is over I’ll need to chop my way through the house with a machete..
