People ...men and women... should stop letting the PMCs tell them how to think and how to act and who to be and what's important or what's not. That's how we got here.
The douche canoe (I didn't and still don't know who he is) in that clip only wants to protect and perpetuate a nationalistic, patriarchal, capitalism-driven hegemony of "western" values because he views that as his best shot at maintaining his own position and privilege. That type will abandon all pretense and revert to authoritarianism in a moment if he believes it will accomplish the same goals.

I agree with just about everything you said.
But we grew up in a different time....when we actually did interact with a bunch of people in real life on a pretty consistent basis. So we are probably better equipped to figure things out for ourselves.
I know some troubled youth will latch onto people like this and just become little weasel followers with no backbone much like the followers of Andrew Tate, Jordan Peterson, Matt Walsh, etc. etc. etc.
But some of the advice might be a good starting point for some people. And I say a starting point, because I do agree it is important to figure things out for yourself (and
be yourself) once you break out of your shell.
