They really have no idea. Families are struggling and tight on finances and inflation and gas prices are killing people.

They assume because THEY only care about things as it suits their political biases that everyone else does as well. And its total folly to assume everyone in the country is so partisan that party affiliation is nearly divided into "cons" and "dems/progs".

They have no idea what people are actually going through....they see it as partisan talking points. They arent being impacted too much so they dont really empathize.

I saw a guy on FB lecturing people "if gas is so hard to afford maybe people should just switch to electric cars". Because these people really think everyone can afford to just go buy a Tesla.
