I didnt rubberneck, we had to drive by them at less than 5 mph. That's exactly it, why random people rubber neck at accidents it stirs up emotion now that mixed with an understanding of situation and culture you can establish the true dynamic impact it has on everyone it effects.. it achieves a rush knowing lives are altered and will never be the same
To this day, I do not ever rubberneck. It slows traffic and it disrespects the fallen or injured. After tha experience , I deliberately look away from them. I want to respect the deceased, not get something for me from it.
We're all free to do what we do. I've never understood and gotten to ask someone what they got out of witnessing others' pain before.
Thanks for being forthcoming.
