The wording " at least 7" more than once is intended to create a mental imagine of a bunch of children being severely ill. It turns out it's just 7 pediatric cases of Covid with two severe cases and no existing health conditions are listed.
So they want their readers to be scared for their kids.....that's the intent. That's why they use that charged and probably dishonest wording. To instill fear. And work in that everyone HAS to get vaccinated or children will die.
It's kinda hyperbolic. But it's intended do make the readers afraid for their children, look with ire on states that opened up, and blame Republicans for any outbreaks and any deaths of black Americans.
It's actually pretty comical how hard they are sending messages to influence people politically and medically.....but also concerning with how effective this is.

Anyone can be stupid. The problem with them is, they think they are immune to stupid. Impervious to propaganda.
In fact they cant even properly identify propaganda. They assume anything coming from anything even slightly "right wing"(which today means anything not left) is automatically lies and propaganda. I've seen people who have gotten a clue and started checking admit this.
Anything coming from leftwing sources to them is some default truth.
So they are the most easily manipulated. They dont pick up on the inflammatory language and the repetition. They dont see the "thought stoppers".
And as long as they see themselves as deeply intelligent open minded enlightened ones with common sense.....their armor is bullet proof.

It wasnt about Covid. The purpose of this article was the send another message "Republicans bad. Republicans dumb. They hate science and kill children"
And the people who fall for it cant or wont see its manipulation.
It's actually part of left wing academia to destroy objectivity. The result is, you have heavily bias people who are easy to manipulate who view this malleability as being educated. They dont even realize they stopped supporting the people and are aligned with the government because of how this info is presented.
