I stayed up to the end. It was so long that my reaction to Freeman's Hr was "Yay, it's over!"

My partner and son cracked up but I wasn't trying to be funny, I was just that happy the game was finally won.

That was for damn sure. I managed to watch an entire episode of Homicide during those scoreless innings. It was just waiting for someone to screw up enough for the other team to win. Freeman kept getting closer and closer to the wall until he finally made it over. Lots of screwy plays and missed chances that 'coulda been'.
