The USA needs to break up its 2 party system.

I suggest a Georgia-like runoff style election where the 2 front runners in any election have to vye for the support of 3rd parties.

So...in order to get their support and votes, they'd have to fulfill the demands of those 3rd parties.

The other suggestion is to break up the electoral college according to vote share, split the EV's up by % of vote, not winner take all.

The 2 party system has led to too much extremism in either the Democratic or Republican camps.

Because we have these hostile marxists who just want to rule the country and destroy everyone who doesnt share their narrative.

.Well that's the problem - we have what I call the One Party System.
That, of course was the complaint of us dirty hippies over 50 years ago just as it is today.
. If you bother to read Hedges' Death of the Liberal Class, he traces the beginnings to Wilson and WWI,
the primary failure being the press working to promote intervention etc into the war.

..but, no matter where it began - where I fear it will end is with radical right-wingers (anti-Liberals) finally undermining trust in democratic systems as they have been doing under Trump with Putin's aid.

.This, as one can easily see, is intended to leave a downtrodden, demoralized, and disillusioned people looking for a leader to put faith in as Germany put faith in Hitler after the First world war.
. This is what the radical right is aiming for - even though as useful idjits, they won't get what they bargain for.

Orwell of course warned of this.
