Musk wants to privatize USPS

I live in a socialist country that privatized their mail delivery. Let me tell you this -- it's a fucking nightmare. Every single solitary person I know has horror stories about mail. It's because there are at least a dozen delivery companies competing and the coordination of those systems is not possible. There's a whole reddit page about it.

Mail is late, it's not delivered and they claim it is, it goes to the wrong town completely, I could go on and on. It's horrific. If you like getting your mail, stop Elon!

Republicans have been wanting to do that forever.

Not sure how that will make it more "efficient" or "profitable"?
It doesn't make it more efficient at all. It can make it more profitable for some business owners, but it doesn't mean you'll get your mail. And if you live in a rural area, haha. Good luck. No one will want to go there.

The Post Office is weird everywhere I think. One of my clients regularly sends me a check from their office that's about 40 miles away from me. Sometimes it gets here in a day, sometimes it takes a week or more.

I think a Post Service should be maintained by the federal government, but that's just me.

The profitable parts of mail services, package delivery, have already mostly been privatized.

Rig your elections even more @jack

Mail in ballots won't be a reliable method of voting.

I think this is what Elon & Trump have in mind.

Water your democracy down s'more

perhaps. I have full access to my ballots due to the nature of where I live. Voting isnt an issue.

But getting supplements and stuff from amazon bla blabla, I happen to LIKE that service.

Always have.
