You can't seriously tell me if someone poasted they knew exactly where you lived, were quite possibly planning a visit, and wanted to strap you to a torture rack you'd simply laugh it off as trolls being trolls... that dog won't hunt.

IPs don't tell you exactly where someone lives.
I have lived that kind of creepiness by the dumb dumb admins at CO. Pictures of my home posted at TV under their shared alt. Where I lived with my minor children. It's why I went ballistic when "they" went after my adult kid and her family, years later. These people are low level sociopaths.
But someone's bluster in meltdown is different, especially as it relates to an IP address. They tell you about a location by city/town. You don't generally get a street address.
Do I "troll" like that? No. Would I ever threaten to torture someone? Hell, no.
But I have Fruitmale wishing me death at least once a week. It's strange.
There are only a few who do this kind of crap. They go way too far abd they should be banned for it. Unfortunately, that never happens.
