NBA Playoffs 2026 - If Anyone Cares

Ordinarily Game 5 is the pivotal game, oft referred to as "Pivotal Game 5".
...but in this series, I see this as a pivotal game.
Not that Game 5 might not be when it arrives though.
If the Spurs can steal another home game from the Knicks, all bets are off. I just hope the officiating isn't influenced by the betting line or the pressure from the NBA to extend the series for revenue purposes.

I hate when that happens in sports. Let the boys decide it in game.

I just saw that that Jalen Brunson guy is a local boy. Grew up in Lincolnshire just up the road. Quite an affluent suburb too so he ain't no ghetto kid.

I guess I'll root for the Knicks then.

Okay, so that's 5 flagrantly biased calls that have change the game in Spurs favor.
Total BULLSHIT !
I will be writing to the NBA league office about this. :Pissed5:

Whadda Game! I don't think I've ever seen a comeback quite like that from 29 points down.

Good on your pussies, er, I mean Knicks, Holliday.
It was the greatest comback ever. Everybody is saying
There has never been a biger comback.
It was the best comeback
The Knicks only have the best comebacks.

Really - completely unprecedented and BRILLIANT !

Anunoby has been insanely good in the series.
. I hope he will be well rewarded.
Actually, he was...in advance.
He has really rewarded that confidence in him.

Well, I have to admit that I feel stupid for tuning out of what I thought was a disaster for the Knicks only to find out that they won. Watching the replays of the comeback was eye opening. They'll be hoisting the trophy soon.

Oh, Larry. I was worried you bet the over and had harmed yourself over the loss.
. Good to see you're okay, man.
...but how could you turn it off when you've see this team come back time and time again?
You could have been part of history just by having watched it in real time and felt that wave of belief/disbelieve/elation in the very moment.

I honestly didn't think it could happen. Goes to show my gut instinct can be off.

Game 5 - 8:30 PM Eastern Time (the only time that matters) on ABC

Spurs 5.5 pt favorites.
. After 4 games, the Knicks winning three, the oddsmakers are still favoring Spurs by more than they do Knicks on their home courts.
. Honestly. I would not be shocked by a Spurs win, but want to see the better team wrap it up tonight.

PS: Wemby is a very dirty player. A disgrace to the NBA.

It's Hagler/Hearns baybee @Alfred E. Neutrump @Reggie_Essent
. 42-37 at the half.
Who is going to punch harder and throw the knockout blow?

Knicks just have to make those good looks inside the arc and they got this.

...and another no call on Wemby.
When a shooter lands on your foot you're in their landing space.

Knicks take lead 86-85 with 3:17 to play. With the ball.
