Wait! Is this the one where one of Trump's accountants entered the NDA payments to the filthy whore Democrat poor star into the wrong spreadsheet column so the vile and disgusting Democrat filth NY prosecutors decided that what had always been a misdemeanor was now a felony because there was some kind of "underlying crime" that no one to date has been able to name or define?

... you guys ... Have an Orange Crush and sit the fuck down.

According to AP there will be no jail time. Marchand is going on about "competing interests"

It's probably important as a formality to make the felony counts "stick". That will complicate his ability to travel to some foreign countries.

You fucks elected a convicted felon. Who would have thought.

I hope you enjoy the next four years. I'm going to be enjoying my life.

Frankly, I have never expected him to see jail time for anything. I've always known they'd give him a pass.

I'm satisfied that it's only the GOP that has a convicted felon in office. That will go down in history.

. I wonder though, if libtards (democratic party supporters/parrots/LibiCons) have learned their lessons after handing Trump the election.

Marchon is a traitorous scumbag fuck and deserves to be hanged by the neck until dead.

But tell me, jack, what was the "underlying crime" that turned the 34 misdemeanors into felonies is this case?

What? You don't know?

Neither does anyone else, not even this piece of garbage "Judge" who should be spat upon by all decent people.

That's kinda harsh, Reg. He was just doing his job.

Go study NY law and get back to me.

What? You don't know?
I do know. He actually broke the law as written. Maybe you should go read the laws he broke.

spitting on dead people doesn't make any sense unless you're a radicalized Muslim terrorist.

He wasn't "doing his job," jack. He was abusing his power to harm a political enemy because his betters told him to. He's disgraced for the rest of his life and I would spit in his face if I ever met him face to face.

I followed the case closely, jack. This vile Judge and the evil Democrat Prosecutor used a "novel" legal theory to make misdemeanor accounting errors into felonies. Everyone knows this who have two brain cells to rub together, so you may want to ask Edgar if what I say is true.

... unless you can provide citations that show a precedent that anyone else, in the entire history of New York Law, has had misdemeanor accounting errors turned not felonies?

.. You know, I'm holding out some hope yet that there will be enough opposition even within his own party to stop the slide. We, all of the way back in the 60s/70s used to sigh and proclaim that it was the end of the empire. You know - the sky is always falling...not to say this is all not worrisome, which it is.

Oh, and...like some others I do not watch and receive all of the most vital information and influence from youtube vids.

Ok that's your opinion. That isn't however what happened. Judges don't have "betters" and they decide cases based on the evidence. Wasn't political at all. That's conspiracy talk you're spouting.

so did I.

No, they actually followed NY fraud law to the letter. Guess you didn't follow it that closely. He thought he could get away with it and he found out wrong.

unless you can provide citations that show a precedent that anyone else, in the entire history of New York Law, has had misdemeanor accounting errors turned not felonies?
That's not how it went. That may be your translation, but it's not accurate and merely fits your rather narrow view of the case. it was his intent and deliberate actions with complete paper trails and even diagrams from his accountant (who went to jail twice for perjury for trying to cover it up) that turned what would have been misdemeanors into felonies. He thought he was above the law, and the law showed him otherwise.

Reg, you can't diagram fraud, leave a paper trail complete with notes of intent and not expect to pay for it. That's where he was stupid. That's what he did. He can appeal it forever, but he will ALWAYS be a convicted felon.

Tell me about the "34 felonies," Lily? What, exactly, were those "felonies" and how was the felonious nature of the porn star payments being entered into the wrong spreadsheet column determined?

No jail time. Rich fucks always find a way out. But the $5 million is gone. He had to post that in full in order to appeal. It was the only time he used his 'own' money. Appeal denied, money goes to plaintiff. Bye bye.

Next appeal he needed, what, $550 million? I can't keep track. But he didn't have it so another rich fuck posted it for him. At cut-throat interest I am sure. If that appeal is denied, bye bye. That guy will have to collect from Frump. Good luck with that.

It is NY law that, to appeal a judgment, you must post the entire judgement, in full, so when you lose they already have it and don't have to chase you down for it. It keeps the phony appeals to a minimum.

Giulliani is a different case altogether. He lost, owes millions, and is ducking to hide everything. He is flat busted, so no army of lawyers to drag it out. In fact one of his assets is the millions Frump stiffed him. He has a contempt hearing today. Jail?

Just curious, Raggs - do you think voters had a right to know that he had illicit relations with a call girl?
Do we have a right as voters to know some things about the character of the candidates?

Not playing your game, Ragey. According to the law of the State of NY, what he did is illegal. You don't like it? Too bad, so sad, go ahead and cry and whine.

It won't get you anywhere.

We all knew he fucked Stormy the Democrat Whore back in 2015 when she broke the NDA she signed with Trump (for which she was sued and had to pay Trump, remember that?)

So, no, Holliday, the voters already knew and didn't care in 2016 or in 2020.

Lily doesn't want to play because she can't explain how misdemeanors suddenly become felonies because of an "underlying crime" that no one has yet defined.

Jack babbles like he knows what he's talking about, but he too cannot define or name the "underlying crime" that turned 34 misdemeanor accounting errors into felonies (and neither can the disgraced Judge).

Oldslowjagoff was mumbling something in the corner that I didn't bother to read.

So once again, it's yet another thread that I win. It's almost too easy when all the opposition suffers from extreme TDS.

In your mind, yes. It's all about "winning". Fuck the facts, the law and the evidence. Don't forget to swallow, because no one else really cares.

Well done.

Anyway, I think I'm ready for a cold beer and a bowl. I'm shutting down from work now and wanna have a beer and a bowl to prime my tummy for supper. :)

Amidst the Evil, there's always the Good ones @The New Holliday

But they always seem to come after the Bad Ones.

Before then America may have to go through this period of Darkness before 'The Good One' arrives & restores the Republic back to Health.

People need to go through Bad Times to realize how Good they once had it.

Joe, politics is a very mundane approach - really for the dullards.

I'm simmering my soup and finishing my beer.

Non Disclosure Agreements are a common legal practice, Holliday. I have to agree to them several times a year for my client's projects. In this case, Trump fucked a skank and paid her to keep her mouth shut about it. (Can you blame him?)

She broke the agreement, Trump sued her and she had to pay back the money plus 125k in punitive damages to Trump.

All of that came out in late 2015 and the people still voted for Trump.

I'm sure in retrospect, Trump face palms himself whenever he thinks of Stormy Daniels.

Ya see, giant knockers have never been a big selling point to me, and neither have I paid for more than a service rendered.
