Think about it.

There is a small window where organs can be harvested. If you are an organ donor and you go braindead they will harvest your organs BEFORE they "pull the plug".

You CANT use an organ once the body is dead. They have to be harvested while the body is alive. This is why people are on wait lists.....sometimes for years, and why choosing who gets an organ is a picky process.

If this were organ harvesting they wouldnt be concerned with preserving these bodies and hanging them as cadavers. They would just junk the bodies.

I've honestly never seen them hang bodies like that before.

Why would you have?

You've never had a reason to see this, right? Have you honestly ever sat around wondering "gee....I wonder how corpses are prepared into cadavers"?

Lol. All kinds of things are done that we havent thought or considered.

Did you know people can often be awake during brain surgery?

Hey now you know what will happen to your body should you donate it.

Not fucking happening!

Your choices are being burnt to ashes.....burying and slowing rotting for decades(due to embalming it takes 50 years to fully rot) or having this done lol.

Personally I would like to be consumed by animals. But yanno.....we cant do cool shit with our corpses.

Have a sky burial

I wanna ask what that is. But I'm skerred you'll post pics lol

I like how no one noticed what I said about the grave yard part of the vid LOL.

Sky burial is a funeral practice in which a human corpse is placed on a mountaintop to decompose while exposed to the elements or to be eaten by scavenging animals, especially carrion birds. It is a specific type of the general practice of excarnation

I just wanna be chucked somewhere in nature where I'm away from other humans but exposed to the elements and animals.
Oh Dove...have you smelt a rotting corpse before? It’s a bit on the nose. Fire is the way to go...it’s smells like charred BBQ.

I mean I cant find anything that shows how the cadavers are stored before they get shipped out for use.

This video shows them already on the tables but he does explain about the leaking embalming fluid.

Scroll down in the article and you'll find a real image of body storage. I can't copy it. If you read it, there's also a description of body storage. Nothing about hanging people from their heads to prevent pooling of blood. LOL

Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!

I cant read the whole thing ....its asking me to sign up.

But I didnt say looking blood. I said fluids(they drain the blood)....and also to prevent the dead weight from ruining the integrity of the skin.

Blood, liquid, whatever. But the whole time I have been on this thread I've been searching. The NG article is about cadavers, with pics of their storage. On metal units with shelves. Lying down. I looked at Youtube videos. Cadavers prone. Some on shelves, some in drawers, as we always see on TV. None of them are hanging by their heads. That's my only point. Why are the cadavers in that video hanging by their heads? It looks like an imitation of a meat locker, meant for effect. In other words, a movie.

But who knows what they do in other countries.

Yes, I have. Decomposition all smells the same.

When my dad died, he really just laid in his bed and died. And then his dog(a wiener dog) jumped up next to him and died(dog was old).

It was very normal not to hear from my dad sometimes for months. We were having a conflict. My dad was bipolar.....so it wasnt out of the ordinary to not hear from him for a few months.

So after he died, no one knew for about 6 weeks. Eventually his neighbors who he would join for dog walks noticed he hadn't been coming out with Scooter, but his car was there and he wasnt answering the door. So they called police and they found him.

This was 6 weeks in June and July.....and he clearly didnt turn the AC on.

I found out the day before I had Squish. So i was dealing with the medical examiner and funeral home during my labor(i was his only daughter....well only child).

I didnt make it out to his place until 2 weeks after they removed him. The house still smelled. My husband and I put surgical masks on with peppermint oil to go in there.

My dad wasnt found for several days after being inside his apartment. That smell and all the maggot casings are things I'd like to forget.

I don't think it would be a big secret if they really hang them. Someone would mention it somewhere. Hanging them seems completely unnecessary. If there's a shortage of space, like in a war, or, um, pandemic, I would think they would bag them and stack them, not fucking hang them.

If they are cadavers to be used for med school they hang them.....exactly like in As video.

Logistically speaking, hooking up a cadaver and running them along a conveyor line is easy, efficient and takes up less space. Elementary.

I did. I had his body AND his dogs body cremated, and then I had the remains buried in a plot next to his parents that he had bought.

I was worried that I would forever associate my youngest birth with that.....but I actually think it's kinda beautiful. He went out as she came in, you know? Maybe they slapped high fives behind the veil lol.

Okay DONT LAUGH ......but in Return of the Living Dead they show the cadaver while its hanging in the medical storage fridge LOL

I realize life isnt like the movies.....but I cant find anything on this and I KNOW it happens and why it happens lol. When they send them out they are all wrapped up and laying in containers but when they are being prepped for that they hang them.

Just go ask someone who would know lol

That's what I'm saying. It shouldn't be so hard to find.

I'm not a regular doctor-goer, so it'll be awhile.

The question for me is, do they hang thm like that, dozens of them, like they're in a meat locker?

Whatever. It's not that important.

It shouldnt be no... .but it is lol. For whatever reason they are not showing what is done between embalming and wrapping them to be shipped.

They hang them by the head like that in refrigeration. I cant prove this because I cant find anything lol.

So props from a movie?

Those are definately real bodies.

They are being prepped as cadavers. Sheesh you guys lol.

Lotus seems to think they aren't real, I said they likely are...

All corpses that have been preserved look somewhat fake.

Ever been to a viewing? The body looks kinda like a mannequin of the deceased.

What people experience seeing this(and what Lotus is likely experiencing) is called "uncanny vally". Its the weird creepy feeling we get seeing anything that looks human but clearly isnt a living human.

No. I know cadavers don't look real. I've seen dead people. I just think that video looks fake.

No not in person but I've seen photographs and my "aunt"(close family friend I've known since birth) was a cheif medical examiner and she has told me about it.

You know what? I have a text book with pictures of it, I can go dig it out and take a picture of it and show you.

My Squish is at Babbas today so I genuinely have nothing better to do. Lol.

I have to sort and organize all that stuff anyway.

Your dignity is of no consequence when you’re dead. Practicality overrides sensitivity dear!
