On Friday I played music for the poor people.

We played our first set and the upbeat songs in our second and third sets.

And we played four Christmas songs...twice each.

Run Run Rudolph

Jingle Bell Rock

Holly Jolly Christmas

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree

We did not play Merry Xmas Everybody, which sucks because it is a great song and I love playing it.

Everyone's sick of Christmas songs, why would you do that to them? Don't they have enough problems?

Did you play the Speed Racer theme song for one of your encores?

I love their video Run Run Away

Yeah, I think that was their big break though in Canada in the 1980's.

But they were around since the 60's!!

And very big in England.

A few Quiet Riot hits were previously hits by Slade (Like, a decade before....).

I posted Cum on Feel the Noize by Slade two posts ago....listen to Slade version and then listen to Quiet Riot version....the Quiet Riot singer was heavily influenced by the Slade singer...

I watched them both. There are certainly similarities between the two singers.

I went to this nearby tavern with amazing Burgers last week, the guy behind the bar was kind of a jerk, so I stuffed some cash in the juke box and ordered up Britney Spears "Oops I did it again" about 10 times in a row.

It's my way of gouging away.
