I just got to thinking...

It has been a few years since I punched somebody out.

I have not been in a fight in years.

I invited an Antifa cunt to fight me a few years ago, but he turned around and scurried away.

I (think I) misunderstood a neighbour who said something like "Everyday is a good day when you wake up in the morning." when we had a bit of an argument about my dog pissing on his boulevard. I took that as some kind of a veiled "You might die." threat and I got pretty heated.

Another neighbour a few blocks away gave me grief about my dog shitting on his lawn. I was picking it up and he gave me some more grief about it. I said "Sorry, I should have made sure it did not happen on your lawn. But I will pick it up and make sure it does not happen again." He walked towards me and said something. I took off my jacket and gave it to my wife and said something like "Ok, if sorry is not enough, we can fight." I put my hands up and was ready to fight the asshole.

Both of these neighbours got all quiet and walked away when I suggested we sort it out with a fight.

I actually have not had one fight in front of my neighbours. It bugs me a bit. I want them to understand that I could kick the shit out of most of them with ease. I mean, I do not really know how tough any of them are, but chances are that none of them would stand a chance of beating me in a fight. It is a level of respect that people who know my skills have, but my neighbours are not aware of....

Question to the other dudes here: When is the last time you have a street fight? Or even an organized fight in a ring or octagon or mat?

Bahahahaha I love this scene so much lol

I havent been in a physical fight since childhood. I did get arrested at a pub in my early 20s for head butting another woman. It was a very embarrassing white trash moment in my life i dont talk about much outside of the internet lol. I blame my ex husband :D

I havent been in a physical fight since childhood.

It is less likely that women will fight.

I watched a Family Feud episode with my wife a year or two ago. The questions was something like "How many fights have you been in?" The one guy answered "13" (I think) and Steve Harvey started laughing and he said something like "You really were in the hood!" or something like that.

I counted. I got to about 25. I think there were a few more, so I'd say I was in about 25-30 street fights. I could have been in more, but I avoided them a few times.

One guy I remember well. He once pointed a .38 revolver at my face and pulled the trigger. I did not even know what was going on when he did it - I did not react well; I just froze. It was not loaded. He laughed his ass off. A little while later he called me a "Goof" at a pool hall. His buddies got a chuckle. He got agitated and said "You are a goof. Are a goof? Say you are a goof."

I said "Yeah, yeah, I am a goof."

My buddies who were there said afterwards "Why did you do that? Why did you not kick the shit out of that asshole?" I told them that if I ever fight that motherfucker, I will have to kill him, because he will not leave it alone if I beat his ass. All he had going for him was his reputation. I knew if I beat him up, I would always have to be looking over my shoulder.

I should talk about the fights I actually did not avoid. Lots of blood and broken bones.

Whenever i move into a new neighborhood, i look for the meanest looking dude on the block and kick his ass, thereby establishing the dominance and respect of the pack.

The fact is that physical confrontation/fighting ability is something that is considered on some level among virtually all dudes and most women.

You can try to act like you are above it, but it is there. You might just have never been considered a worthy participant.

I havent been in a fight in forever. Im a fairly likeable guy.

Growing up, was in the hood, and I got into a few fights.

I also took martial arts for 8 years, and taught it. I hope the fool that comes at me thinks twice before doing so.

I get the most violent when it has to do with one of my kids. Especially my son.

2006... some older teens vandalised my property. Chased them down in the dark and beat up 3 of them....only hit 2 of them with fists, but used the third as a projectile on the other 2...

I, too, believe in defending oneself. I've never been in a fight since elementary school.

Only one girl started to come after me once in college. She was stopped by her friends. I dropped my backpack and was ready to defend myself as she came running. I just stood there waiting, ready to go if need be. After they pulled her back and she didn't try to come at me again, I made my way along. I didn't rat her out or anything. She could have been expelled from the University for that melodrama. I was mostly embarrassed that she got crazy like that since it involved me.

Haven't been in anything like that since.

You’ve got to ask yourself, “Is it worth the legal hassle.” In this day and age you end up in court even for a self-defence situation. And there are CCTV cameras everywhere. Having said that, the last bout I had was in a dojo.

No... I’m talking from the perspective of the aggressor over an irate neighbourhood giving him lip. As far as self-defence goes, even if you are defending yourself, particularly if you’re a trained martial artist, it most probably will still end up in court, unless you threaten to kill their whole family or better still get away with murder. How’s that for clarification?

That’s why I stay away from pubs...I find it hard to walk away. I try to avoid a verbal if necessary, they’re drunken drongos after all!
