I will say this.
The easiest people to scam are left leaning. I'm saying that as a former drug addict that knows from experience that if you go to a leftist with a sob story.....even if they know you are full of shit... they will give you money JUST to talk about how generous and compassionate they are. "Look at me help this poor fucked up bitch! See sometimes people just need a bit of help and understanding!")

Not a clue how important paying people back is to real recovery. He still doesn't get it but he took that money back because I threw a fit.
I'm not even joking when I say my left wing friends could have killed me. A few of them tried to talk me into leaving my year program because they thought it was a cult. I HAD to stop talking to them and they took that as fuether evidence I was in a cult.

I cannot speak freely with them because if I start to get real they interrupt and start on some affirmation bullshit. Like listen asshole.....I sold my car for two packs of heroin and 200 dollars. And then used the 200 dollars for two more packs of heroin. I talked my best friend into sucking my drug dealers dick and then I shorted her. I earned the right to be disgusted with the depths of own flagrant assholery. During that period I was horrible selfish mother, a horrible selfish person....and anyone who says anything different is delusional and not someone who is doing ME any favors.
