Used to be my favorite too. Mainly Chinese Buffets. Until the crab legs that everybody used to fight over, were no longer included due to the high costs.
Now when I go it's mostly for the peel and eat shrimp.
Now I'm starving,.

It's happened to me a few times, in real life as well. I think I posted about it here.
I was checking out a "hottie" in a clothing store while waiting for my girlfriend to finish picking out a dress.
She saw me checking "her" out and couldn't stop laughing, while pointing out "she" was a "he".
When we got to the register, it was there, and the closeup made it obvious.

Here's how I look at the whole "diarrhea/buffet" experience.
It's sort of the best of both worlds. You get to totally pig out on your favorite foods, and as long as you make it home in time, you don't hold onto all those extra calories!

WTF buffets are you going to? All of them have the glass guards and change the serving utensils regularly. Maybe skip the low end places and try one of the higher end places instead. Tell me this doesn't look great.
It turns out they lowered the price to $100 but they also got rid of the king crab and replaced it with snow crab. The lamb looks amazing as does the prime rib as well as the sides. They really restrict the number of people to keep quality up and probably because they want to make it feel exclusive.
