The shooters parents are being charged. They actually fled.

And again, there were plenty of credible threats and warning signs. The kid had a countdown to this shooting on his Instagram. He was posing with the gun in pictures on the internet

So blatant was this that other kids intentionally the skipped that day because they saw the countdown and wanted to stay safe

It was brought to the school staff several times.

They did NOTHING.

So yes something DOES have to be done. But something has to be done that will actually solve the problem. Like the staff taking action when a student shows a pattern of deranged and threatening behaviour.

This is a gross negligence on behalf of all the adults who could have prevented this and chose to look the other way .
