I was at the San Diego County fair yesterday, it is a big county with over 3 million in population, and the county fair is extremely popular as the venue is over 100 years old, it is famous as a horse racing venue, it has had celebrity owners going back to the 1930's, and it is traditionally the center of socialite activity in the area.

Not a single Bud light or AB Inbev product was being sold. Every other beer brand was there, dozens of craft beer brands were there, numerous hard liquor brands were selling mixed drinks, but not a single AB Inbev brand was there. They just gave up and walked away. This is a huge L.

The youngest especially like the demolition derby. Watching old cars from the 1960's and 1970's with roll cages and practical battering rams welded on them bash each other into oblivion was a highlight for him. The winners seemed to use their rear trunks to hit the front of other cars to damage their engines.

My wife and two kids also loved going into a giant enclosure with various parrots and birds to feed them. The eldest had like 15 parrots landing on him and trying to get the food at the same time. The boys always have loved parrots.
