She thought she may have caught it taking public transit or else workers who entered her home to do renovations.
Apparently one of them wasn't wearing a mask.

Stay away from public transit if at all possible, and don't let anybody you don't know nor where they have been into your home.

I think your decision to move your family out of the city or crowded urban setting was a wise move.
