I am only confused because capitalism can work. What we're experiencing across the globe is a movement towards even greater unfettered capitalism...that's the real problem.

I have no feeling about this transaction beyond the curiosity than anyone would spend $10 million on a handbag.
How can I disagree that there are better ways to spend that money? It is objectively true. There are much better ways to spend that money.
As for greed, that was a tangential comment. Maybe you shouldn't care about how other people see the world. There's nothing you can do about it.
