I have to pay taxes in the US and Portugal, and I can't even call the IRS. What do I get for my tax dollars, exactly?

You're a fucking cunt and the USA would be better off without you.

Actually the entire world would be better off without you..

So do us all a favour and Fuck Off.

Even if you assert is true, still think it's a wise idea to have a 2nd or 3rd passport these days, Ice.

Ya never know which way the cookie'll crumble, eh?

Lookit how the situation was humming before COVID & how it's all fallen apart since then in many countries.

Nice ta have a 2nd place to go to in case tht e situation falls apart where u r.

I'm gonna be lookin for a 2nd passport once this pandemic is over, eh.

Were either of your parents immigrants? My father was born in the UK which means I qualify for UK citizenship by birth.

No.

But according to friends I spoke with, there's places in the world where getting a 2nd passport isn't that difficult.

Doesn't even have to be a passport.

could just be a premanent residency permit.

Americans can get residency in most countries fairly easily. Working (legally) is a little bit harder. If you are retired and have an income there is no reason not to.

But renouncing citizenship makes no sense unless you are truly wealthy.

I don't know about that. I've been looking into it, and from what I understand, it makes sense. You are free from paying taxes in the US if you have little net worth -- like under 2 million. The fee is $2350 or something like that. That's not much to pay if they stop stealing your money.

Now, don't get me wrong. I'm no con. I don't like paying taxes that go mostly to wars and profits for billionaires. I don't mind paying taxes for roads and schools and libraries and health care and to alleviate poverty. But that's not what the US spends my money on, for the most part.

And getting residency in foreign countries is "fairly easy," depending on your definition of "fairly easy." I am guessing the vast majority of people would find doing what I am doing to be "fairly difficult." But still worth it.

What I meant is that as an American you have many more options to legally move to another country.

The White Man is still the hegemon of the world, even as He is erased in America.

Oh, yes, that's true. You always have more options if you aren't emigrating in order to find employment in another country.

The white man is not erased in America. He's just being forced to be like everyone else. Get over it. :Whiner2:
