No, I am a man responding to your unserious position. If my response is equally as absurd as your proposition, it's out of necessity.

I call bullshit. How is putting a business in a blind trust while being the most powerful person on the planet, unserious? Don't blame me for your disinterest in pushing back on his corruption.
Should any other President have done the same?

Yes, any President that was/is in business should always put their business in a blind trust.

Answer that carefully, because your answer will expose whether your position is ad principium or ad hominem.
Hey look hair splitting! How cool is that?

Now that is respectable.

He's a cheap salesman, even if it wasn't murky while he's in office, it's embarrassing.

Try to imagine George Washington selling leather whips while in office "for your unruly slaves"...
It's reprehensible. He's supposed to be a civil servant. He serves two things, and two things only: His net worth and his ego.

Which differentiates him from most members of Congress how, precisely?

Lily's stance is respectable in that she would see it applied to everyone in his position. Can you say the same?
Where do you get the idea that I might not? You clearly aren't paying attention, pal. I am not a Democrat, you know. I am 100% against the corporatization of the US government. I don't approve of anyone scamming the government or the people for their personal gain. That includes the Clintons, Pelosi, Trump, Bush, Musk, any and all who pull this nonsense.

Frankly, even people that are active in the Democratic Party don't believe a sitting US president should run his business(es) while serving.

Yeah, it is funny, in a childishly obvious 'Inspector Clouseau' way.

Are you saying the GOP just put on a terrible show for the American people? If you are, why are you surprised?

When I hear you complain about MBS putting $2 billion dollars into a hedge fund run by Kushner, losing money, but paying tens of millions in fees, I might begin to take you seriously. It stinks of bribery to high heaven.

You notice that when you make a fair point, I acknowledge it? Know why? Because you, in the past, have done the same.

LotusBud has not, and I believe in, among other things, reciprocity.
No. You're just butthurt because I called you out on being 100% wrong about me. I've complained about Dems here for years now. But you, partisan hack that you are, think I have to be one of them because I admit to Trump's incredible stupidity and how dangerous he is for the country, unlike you.

It is, if you know what it means; if you don't know what it means, it doesn't take more than a minute to educate yourself.

And if you can't be bothered -- or don't value yourself enough -- to educate yourself, well...
There you go again, making assumptions, which, because they are completely wrong, accomplish nothing other than making an ass of you.

I read the whole thing; if you read a part in there that says, "Naw, just kiddin'! He can't make any money of any kind from any source!", you need to pay more attention to what's on the page and less to what's in your imagination.
What size are you currently using?

The thing I love the most about the ridiculous "Trump" brand is that he, the guy who puts gold stuff all over everything in his apartment, sees his "brand" as upscale rather than garish and laughable. Monumentally cringe worthy. The only people who would buy any of his stuff are the truly tasteless.
