As far as I'm concerned, there is a widening wealth gap between the upper and lower classes.

Yup.

Due to more advanced technology, the entire system should be redesigned from the ground up. We are thinking within the parameters of a system that was developed over a hundred years ago.

If we were to utilize technology properly, we could shorten work weeks, allow people to retire earlier, and provide many more life-enhancing activities for people. And everyone could be wealthy.

Life could be better in every way.

But people want leaders who look good without makeup and walk confidently and run a good pep rally. It is pathetic.

....Except the Super wealthy dont wanna share their wealth & distribute it to the masses Lex @The Prowler.

They want shorter work weeks and fewer employees so they can pay everyone less & pocket all the profits to make themselves even richer.

AI is just a tool to control the population, the flow of information & rig the stock market in their favor so they have absolute power.

The Super Rich aren't interested in sharing their wealth or power with anyone.

According to them, Greed isn't Good, it's Greeeeaaat!

It is that kind of defeatist attitude that makes me want to support The Culling.

Taiwan, Luxembourg, Canada, Japan, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Singapore.

Wrong again Gunga Din, but good hustle! Of course different countries may more or less economic or social "controls" than other countries, that is in part why we have a variety of Countries, but Country A being slightly less regulated than Country B does not make them Libertarian.

I don't think there's a consensus on the definition of a "libertarian" society is in this discussion, at all.
That's because a libertarian social system has never been established so there isn't anything to base a factual description of. Arguments can be made some are more or less "Libertarian" but that doesn't make them Libertarian.

Yes, there are no "perfectly libertarian" societies. But Libertarian-leaning societies tend to have higher degrees of economic freedom, higher income per capita, and more foreign investment.

At the end of the day, things like price controls and tariffs are tools in a toolbox that a state can use to intervene in it's economy to ensure fair competition.

The problem with this is that governments like the US use these policies FAR too much, and they end up doing more harm than good. No, you do not need tariffs on Chinese imports to "bring back" American manufacturing.

These policies sound like good ideas to the general public because the general public doesn't have the time to learn about why using these policies too often and for the wrong causes can create more harm than good.

Societies aren't only "economic systems". There is much more. You're ignoring that.

So why do you support Trump, seeing how his only economic policy promotion is 2000% tariffs on foreign goods and services, and the wholesale sacking of Government employees to find jobs for his High School Bros?

When did I say I support Trump?

I do not.
