Yanking a man out of his car over a minor traffic offense is imo way over the top.

The cop could have placed it on his windshield… and attended court to confirm it was paid so they couldn’t claim they never received the ticket.

Cops should order criminals to cease and desist their crimes from afar under the very weighty threat of repeating the order a second time and even third time.

From afar.

And should that come up short they should escalate that matter with hand signals and perhaps a louder tone.

But such drastic measures should be reserved for only the most grievous of crimes and uncooperative offenders.
