Thursday, playing catch, thats my favourite part

I have not thrown a ball since September....no, that is not true. I played catch a few times in a gym over the winter.

But I have to get my arm in shape and it is supposed to be warmish on Thursday.

The guy I am going to throw with is 23 or 24...something like that. One of the youngest on my team.

The playing of catch is only part of the event; one might call it the excuse to get together and socialize. The framework, if you will, of a far more complex and meaningful interaction.

It's the kind of thing people with friends do.

Yeah, it was a pretty odd thing for her to try to criticize.

Other than getting some throwing in, I plan to have a beer or two with him...on my deck if the weather is nice enough. Otherwise we will go inside. His dad was going through cancer treatment last summer so I am hoping there is good news on that front. But, yeah, you get the idea...

Surely 60+ violates that statute and yet I've never been accosted by the local constabulary.
