That's a remarkably stupid question, Lotus. First of all there have been shootings by muslims - also a little incident in NYC in 2001. Thirdly, stick around till the percentage is not less than 1 but 5 or 10 as it is in say France where violence and destruction far more regular.
My point, which you seem determined to ignore, is the FACT that not all Muslims are violent. In FACT, most Muslims are not violent. If I sat here saying all Jews are violent, how would you react? I am very repelled by gross stereotyping of any group of people. It's ethically abhorrent to me.

Of course they aren't all violent. I've also pointed out many many times over the years that not everyone is in the military class any more than all are in the merchant class or any other, and yet the militant faction does the work it is assigned, and it is condoned by the masses.
Maybe you'd like to live in Turkey. You, as a woman, can not even walk alone in the street unescorted by a male family member. That's how totally fucking primitive they are, Lotus. I'm no expert Lotus, I just mean that it takes a special kind of person to be a terrorist. There are some very violent people out there but terrorists take violence and depravity to a whole new level and are far more organized than the average killer. That's all I'm saying. I also believe that not every Muslim is a terrorist either. People saw what extremists like Osama bin Laden did and automatically the entire religion is made up of terrorists. Terrorists are their own thing.
What is this crap with "Maybe you'd like to live in..."? I told you before, I don't want to live in the US. That doesn't mean I hate all Americans and think they should be driven into the sea. I will never live in any country that makes women second class citizens. That doesn't mean I think people from those countries should all die. BTW, the men here in Portugal are in many ways less patriarchal than American men. Just sayin'. I don't support machismo, at all. Yes, it does. And they are their own thing. But I can't say I know what I would do if I had been living in "Palestine" since the 1940s. It might have turned me into a terrorist. Who knows.
