Also, when I told the guy who was helping me that cell phones cost about 100 a month in the US, he was flabbergasted. We pay 22 euros (about 25 bucks) a month per phone for unlimited everything, and he thought that was expensive. Internet (fiber optic) plus TV is 33 euros (38 bucks).

Off topic, but an at-home covid test is 5 euros.

Canada is also very expensive Internet phone service. Big Country like the US so you pay more here. Portugal is a small country. Easier to build and maintain Internet fibre optic lines.

All taxes fees included.

So $85 Canadian or about $65 USD for both unlimited home Internet and phone with 8gb of data or Internet access.

Would that be about 50 Euros?

Not the cheapest in the world but decent for Canada which ranks among the most expensive in the world.

Many pay 2- 3x as much as I do here for the same ting.

So the plan does me fine.

It's about the right amount of data.
