Yes, you've raised a few good points, but the other side also raised their good points. When someone can say "I agree..." to someone they usually don't agree with, then that I would call a good step in the right direction.

I don't generally talk about politics with friends and family. I can't avoid it with Mr. He is one of those that brings politics into everything.
