Ww will lose military access to this region if it’s lost to Russia.

DOH!
We will also lose access to markets and lines of communication, ie sea lanes, pipelines, data lines and net access, monetary exchange systems. As I was attempting to explain to The QTard, a lot our our "Welfare to Foreigners" is in actual incidence MIC "welfare" on the home front. Most of the arms and ammunitions, bullets, bombs, missiles, missile batteries F15's e16's etc some MIC operation gets paid for their work product, and the beat goes on...

As noted earlier, you're arguing in defense of neoconservatism.

Russia remains one of the world’s biggest nuclear powers and their arms industry is stronger than the entire NATO combined. China currently owns 384,000 acres of US agricultural land and engaged in biological warfare that resulted in a global pandemic.

They don’t understand that it is the US that maintains world peace through our military strength…. we live in a world that has walls and those walls have to be guarded by men in uniform with guns or we are going to be susceptible to a joining force becoming greater than us.

Then what? Is Donnie Dump going to swoop in and save them?

I apologize on behalf of my peoples, we're not all trumptarded.

True story, one of my car biz buds form the way back machine, an amazing auto technician, race car builder and driver*, and even though we didn't work in the same departments for some reason we sort of connected in one of those odd work relationship things, sumbitch always remembered my BD, we kind of reconnected on FB, I looked him up somewhat out of curiosity about how his MS was progressing...and in that area I'd send him funny cartoons, dumb jokes or wacky car related videos..we never really discussed politics when we worked together, and since connecting on FB a few years ago....but I picked up enough form the occasional chit chat to know he leaned into conservatism, I think in his case culture war bs he sort of bought into....

I trial closed him a couple weeks ago with a mild funny cartoon about trump he lol'd and sent something similar back

this morning he'd sent me something and we bantered back and forth...I "broke the ice" and told him the events of yesterday were seriously making me question if that Constitution I swore an oath to still mattered anymore...

He responded with he's always leaned Republican but he was aware that Trump was a drooling moron, but at the election he still felt Trump was the least worst candidate, and went that way.

He confessed it was the first mistake he ever made in his in his life, and that he himself had been starting to wonder since after the inauguration if Trump was actually trying to start WW3.

*He and his Brother Built a Race Car Datsun B210 years ago, he set a land speed record for the class at the Bonneville Salt Flats, when inspecting the car after the run, they were trying to find out why the car was misfiring a bit while setting a land speed record...his car had a dead hole, number 3 cylinder was not igniting...

There you have it.
Cool story, bro.*

Not as good as my stories, of course, but then who's are? I am Reggie and no one else is.

You got some nice narrative flowage started there and developed a nice quick outline sketch of your protagonist, but then you couldn't help the ham fisted injection of your political point too soon, which is really fucking stupid by the way.

Instead you should have added a bit more color and background complexity to the relationship between you, the narrator, and your protagonist, the object of the story you wish to use as a tool for the final denouement of your narrative when you smash your political point home.

We shouldn't have learned that your Trumptard friend had an epiphany while watching Trump dress down the little pansy Zelensky until the very last line of your story.

Oh, are we believing that now? Is the 'China was working on a bioweapon in Wuhan and it escaped containment' thing no longer a 'racist right-wing conspiracy theory', now that it's convenient to the 'let's give our entire economy to Ukraine and fuck what the voters have to say about it' crowd?

I remember when the Left was vociferously anti-war and anti- military industrial complex when it was that fucking compost-headed cretin Dubya mewling about "Dubya-Em-Deez" and "Sadd-um Hussein" and "if yore not with us, yore with the tear-rists!"

"No blood for oil! No blood for oil!" echoed through the streets.

Now the chorused gag-and-retch song has very, very different lyrics. Now they're cozying up to a Cheney. Now, a forever-war with taxpayers footing the bill indefinitely is just peachy-fucking-keen by them, and how dare the sitting U.S. President refuse to go along with the warhawks' program!

To the point of cryptomnesia kicking in and prompting Murdy to quote the actual jingoistic antagonist of a military courtroom drama.

I'd never have written shit like what I've seen in this thread because it's so absurd.

The change in Leftist Dogma actually dates back to the Clinton years when someone in a Clinton entourage famously sneered at a flyover of military jets at an event and was told by it's betters that those jets were "ours now."

The Gramscian "Long March Through The Cultural Institutions of the West"* was completed by Barak Hussein Obama in the late oughts. Since then the ideological Left has owned the bureaucratic state at all levels, federal, state and local; Academia, the Entertainment industry and most importantly, the legacy media.

This is why I poke ancient and old timey Libtards like Admin and Lotus about now defending what they never would have defended a few years back. THEY are the Establishment now, and our boy Trump was sent there to tear it all down, man, and it drives them utterly crazy.

*Fun Fact: Mao Tse Tung stole the phrase "Long March" from Antonio Gramsci without attribution or acknowledgement because all Leftists are vermin swine honorless filth.

I never liked Nirvana. Kurt Cobain was a pretentious little snot and not all that talented, in my opinion.

But I did hear that computerized voice from my ancient Intellivision B17 Bomber game saying "ON TARGET" just now as I see your music video spamgasm.

I know it sucks to be continually pwned by my superior intellect time and time and time again. It used to make me feel a little guilty to toy with lesser humans like a cat toys with a dying little bird it caught on a fine spring day -- I can't wait for spring, how 'bout you? -- Anyway, it used to make me feel a little guilty to toy with retards, but I got used to it.

And it did not escape my notice that no answer has been given as regards exactly whom in the GOP is talking about cutting entitlement.

Most likely that's hearsay fabricated by some Democrat mouthpiece. When there's no specific name given, it's because no specific person actually said any such damned thing.

Bush 2.0 Screwed screwed up and blurred the GWOT by going into Iraq, but I believe his intention was sincere for the protection and betterment of our Democracy, and not for personal gain or kompromot.

I saw a bit with Fareed Zakaria today, where he reflected on a theme the trumptarded are touching closely to,

Had President Zelenzkyy floated into the meeting gushing to trump bowing and scraping and kissing his wing tips, about his genius and transformative power to make the world greater just by being back in office and awarded Diva Trump a newly conceived and Minted "Trump Hero Of Ukraine" Medal Trump would have sent Zelenzkyy home with pallets of cash and the free rental of our entire heavy bomber fleet, all the big B ships 52's 1's 2's etc to incinerate all Russian and Russian allied forces in any position of threat to Ukraine inside or outside its border. Boom goes Kursk, Boom goes the Donbass, Boom goes The Crimean Bridge....

Yeah Trump is a vainglorious empty suit.

But sadly until the Trump Goons 2.0 "This time we're unqualified, and very pissed off about it"

Pro Tip, read the posters text, before jumping in half cocked and making yourself look ridiculous.

When you assume, U makes an Ass out of U and ME.

I believe what Republican David Brooks just said, reflects the overwhelming majority of the world and more importantly of the United States, if you are still fucktarded enough to blame the the American ally of a smallish but sovereign nation that has been relying on American assistance since they were invaded by a foreign power, rewatch the exchange primarily the last 10 minutes of so of the presser. in the WH with Trump's Pro Wrestling Staff.

VP who is historically not an active participant in these things, starts shouting

David Brooks can, as jack might say, stab himself in teh neck with a rusty spoon.

I think I have made it clear that I don't give the slightest fuck what "the majority of the world" thinks about anything. Fuck them. America First.

Have I not been clear on that, Admin?

De donde me da la gana.
Isolationism didn't work in the 20th century. Soft power as a complement to hard power kept us and our friends safe.

To equate our chosen wars like Vietnam and Iraq to wars that were self-defense or for the defense human rights is a dirty trick.

And each time we ventured into conflict it was with a Republican president. Eisenhower got us into Vietnam. Bushco got us into both Iraq wars. Our military actions in Central and South America and Caribbean...Republican.

Reality has a strange way of asserting itself despite the narrative of the righties.

@Lily you quoted probably the stupidest post in the thread.

Looks like Trump is planning on exiting NATO. The EU meetings today with Zelensky sure seem to be underlining that possibilty. The pushback will be the falling of our standing with world leaders as they slowly realize Article 5 is meaningless in a transactional government like ours currently is.

Ukraine will not sign a mineral deal with the US without security guarantees and a complete ceasefire and withdrawal from Ukraine.

I'm glad the world got to see the clown show live, up close and personal.

I'm embarrassed by our country.

I’m embarrassed for our country’s loss of respect and standing in the world as well, now scores of small states around the world are busy figuring out where to turn since are shamelessly turning our backs on them.

I’d forgotten this, while the USSR Was splintering into its separate states each free to find their own way forward,‘Ukraine was a early former Soviet bloc country that rose its hand “we want to go west and merge with Europe” It was during that period the USA urged Ukraine to give up its Nukes, to ease Russian fears, with the understanding in doing so “we” would have their backs so they gave up their weapons and stood up disarmed.

A nuclear armed Ukraine would not have been attacked by Russia if they had the nukes we took away from them. End of story. Now for the coup de grace Trump pulls the protective chair of NATO out from under them just as they were about to sit. Why because KGB Useful idiot recruiter Putin told Trump he was pretty and bought him Tacos

Trump will never hold up to an agreement even if he made one. Look at what he has done and still is doing to the American people he promised to protect. We’re fucked….thanks trump.

When the US leaves NATO, Ukraine can join. With all the money Ukraine earns with partners from the EU on its mineral deposits, Ukraine and partners can open their own weapons factories.
